A Toddler Boy’s Gift Guide

I am getting so excited for the upcoming holidays! If you know me personally, you know that I LOVE Christmas, and have already started listening to Christmas music and singing Christmas carols to Liam.

I’ve been having fun pinning different holiday activities & recipes, and making handprint turkeys and paper chain countdowns with my boy! With Thanksgiving next week, it is getting time to start those Christmas lists, so I thought I would share my 15 month old boy’s wish list & some of our favorite gift ideas for a one to two year old boy (or girl!).

1. Books! – Liam LOVES reading, and we are constantly going to the library to refresh our reading stash. I love seeing the joy on his face reading some of his favorite stories over and over again, and discovering new favorites. Reading has helped develop his language skills and his recognition of animals and the things around him. Here are a few books that are on our Christmas wish list.

It’s Time to Sleep, My Love – We love Nancy Tillman books and this is one that we don’t have…we’ve also been wanting more bedtime stories.

The Beginner’s Bible: Timeless Children’s Stories – A friend of mine has this book of Bible stories for her 18 month old & he loves it! I would love to share these stories with Liam as well – it is written in such a great format for little ones!

The Christmas Wish – A new Christmas book to go along with the tradition of gifting Christmas Eve pjs!

Dragons Love Tacos – I’ve heard this is a funny one!

2. Step2 Whisper Ride II, Blue – I’ve been debating whether to get Liam this car or a wagon for the longest time! Does anyone have any thoughts? Do you have both? Which one do your kids like better?

3. Fisher-Price Little People City Skyway – Liam loves playing with cars & tractors – I think he would have a blast with this!

4. Little Tikes Cook ‘n Grow BBQ Grill – Liam loves doing everything his Dada does, and I can see them spending lots of time outside grilling together in our beautiful San Diego weather!

5. Kelty Woobie 30 Degree Kids Sleeping Bag – Viridian – This one might be more geared specifically for our family… we love camping and it’s time for our little man to have his own sleeping bag (although what kid doesn’t love sleeping in tents and sleepovers?!)!
