Fast forward a few months…whew! Time has gotten away from me! I’ve been busy chasing a toddler around! I can’t believe Liam is now 21 months old and just a couple of months away from his 2nd birthday!
He is such a joy, and is full of new surprises every day. We took him kayaking for the first time over Memorial Day weekend and he loved it! He sat in front with mommy and we occasionally paddled. Daddy got in a good workout! Ha!
We’ve actually had a lot of firsts lately: first haircut, first hot air balloon festival, and first time riding a skateboard all by himself. He’s getting to be such a big boy!
We also have some other BIG NEWS! Liam is going to be a big brother! Baby Krawll #2 is due October 1st. We are not finding out the gender again, so it’s a surprise! Mommy and Liam both think it’s going to be a baby sister though. We will see… I am so excited to see Liam as a big brother! He loves to talk about the baby in mommy’s belly, and loved being able to see the baby on the “tv” at the hospital for mommy’s 20 week ultrasound.
My pregnancy has been pretty great so far. I’ve been experiencing some headaches lately, but they are mild and can usually be fixed with a little caffeine and a nap. Baby is the size of a papaya and I will be 23 weeks this weekend. It’s going by so quickly the 2nd time around!
A few more updates for our big boy:
- He is speaking in full sentences now, and is quite the chatter box!
- Some of is favorite things right now are hot air balloons, fishing, and riding anything with wheels.
- He is 32lbs., still wearing 2T clothes, moving into size 3T and soon size 8 shoes!
- His favorite foods are “enchiladas, rice, and beans!” Pretty much any time of day if you ask him what he wants for breakfast, lunch, or dinner – “enchiladas, rice, and beans” is the answer you will hear!
We are excited for next week when Poppy and Susu will be here to visit! And this summer we have a couple trips planned to visit Auntie Theresa and Uncle Greg and a family vacation with all the cousins!
