Life has definitely not been boring lately!
I haven’t done an update on life as a mother of two yet so here we go, Liam is 2 1/2 and Nyah turned 7 months a couple of weeks ago. Our days are busy and loud…between a 7 month old who has recently found her voice and a big brother who is constantly putting on concerts, playing music school, or mowing the lawn. We also typically have a third musketeer in our group for at least a couple of days a week, so every day is always an adventure!
Liam’s vocabulary has exploded and he is so chatty. He loves telling jokes, making up stories, and always wants to order his own food when we go out to eat. He is also the sweetest little boy loving on “his bebe boo boo” and his friends when they come over. He loves playing with younger children, and it just melts my heart to see him so sweet with them. He also loves playing his guitar, playing doctor, restaurant, fireman, fishing, and lets go to space. His imagination is WILD! It’s so much fun to be a part of.
Nyah is growing so quickly and loves her big brother. I love to see her smile and watch him in amazement. Every day Liam says he and Nyah are best friends forever. I love being able to watch their friendship grow and can’t wait for them to be able to play more together.
A few weeks ago we visited Sunset Cliffs to take some Easter pictures in the wild flowers. We played King of the mountain and chased each other through the wild flowers. It was such a fun time and we got some pretty cute pictures as a bonus. Afterward we had family dinner at Pizza Port and Liam played his first round of arcade games…is it weird to say that I was proud watching him drive that race car so well?! haha
Nyah is wearing 6-12 month clothes, and weighs around 18lbs. She loves her Jumperoo, and rolling around on the floor with her big brother. She is doing great with her sleep now, and takes 3 naps a day (8:30, 12:00, and 3:00) and is in bed by 6:30/7pm every night. At 6 months, Nyah started sitting up on her own and now is able to push herself up on her hands & knees to try to crawl. She is working so hard & gets frustrated after a while when she can’t get going! Soon enough baby girl…
Nyah has also been trying all kinds of new foods in the last few days. Her favorites so far are sweet potatoes, pineapples, and strawberries. She doesn’t mind getting messy as long as it tastes good. I love seeing her messy little foodie face!
I’m so lucky to be their mama. So lucky to have such an amazing husband to do life with.
