I don’t know about you guys but it has been HOT here! I have been digging out my summer things to stay cool. This weekend while it was 90+ I had a craving for something cool. I have always loved tea especially iced tea. I found a new tea that is A-MAZ-ING! Best thing about it is that it tastes sweet and refreshing on a summer day with little to no guilt and it is caffeine free. Which means that it is pregnant lady and late night friendly. Three words… Cupcake Ice Tea!
So here is the new “recipe” that I came up with:
Cupcake Iced Tea:
Step 1: purchase a Rooibos tea that has flavors of vanilla and lemon. This is the one that I purchased that I fell in love with The Republic Of Tea Celebrate With A Cuppa Cake The Republic Of Tea Celebrate With A Cuppa Cake (to say I am obsessed with the flavor is an understatement) or try one of these Vanilla Caramel Caramel Vanilla , Blueberry Bundt or Red Velvet . Also needed almond coffee syrup or almond flavoring and sweetener of choice.
Step 2: To brew, take 16 oz cup fill with ice add two pumps sugar-free Almond syrup. I used this Almond- Jordan’s Skinny Syrups Sugar Free.
Step 3: In a separate 8 oz mug add two tea bag and cover with boiled water to brew tea. Let tea seep for 7 minutes.
Step 4: Remove tea bags and pour tea over ice, stir, add cherry, strawberry, blueberry, lemon, raspberry or fruit of choice as garnish and enjoy your Cupcake Ice Tea.
